It is the specialty of Mathura and can be best had with kachoris, puris, and luchi; of which you can find the link below:<br /><br />Try this amazingly delicious recipe along with its combination this Janmashtami, and let us know in the comment section below<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />(Serves 3)<br /><br />- 3 Green Cardamoms <br />- 8 Cloves<br />- 1 inch Cinnamon stick<br />- 1 Black Cardamom<br />- 1 tsp Black Peppercorns<br />- 1/2 inch Ginger(chopped)<br />- 3 Green Chillies<br />- Coriander Leaves<br />- Spinach Leaves<br />- 1 tbsp Dry mango Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 1 tsp Chaat Masala<br />- 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds Powder<br />- Salt<br />- 1/2 kg Potato(boiled & peeled)<br />- 4 cups Water<br /><br />Ingredients for Tempering:<br /><br />- 3 tbsp Emami Healthy & Tasty Refined Soyabean Oil<br />- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds <br />- 3-4 Red Chillies<br /><br />Method:<br /><br />1. Start grinding green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, black peppercorns first.<br /><br />2. Now, add ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves, spinach leaves, dry mango powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, coriander seeds powder, salt into it and grind it again<br /><br />3. Take boiled and peeled potato in a large bowl. Crush them lightly and add the spice paste in the potato bowl and mix them <br /><br />4. After mixing, transfer the potato mix in a pan, karahi or any cooking vessel and add water into it<br /><br />5. keep the flame on high and let it boil for at least half an hour <br /><br />6. Now, for tempering, heat 3 tbsp Emami healthy & tasty soyabean oil in a pan and add in cumin seeds & red chillies<br /><br />7. Pour it over cooked potato masala, mix it well and serve it hot
